Common questions.
Is Civic Bridge Initiative affiliated with a political party?+
No. We are strictly nonpartisan. We do not endorse or oppose any party, candidate, or campaign, and we do not accept funding from political organizations.
Do you provide legal advice?+
No. We publish educational information about laws, government, and civic processes. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney or the appropriate government agency.
Who can volunteer?+
High school students are our primary volunteers. College students and adults are also welcome for select roles. Applicants under 18 need parent/guardian consent.
How are volunteer hours verified?+
Volunteers log completed work through our program. Supervisors verify hours and issue certificates you can share with your school or scholarship program.
Are bill summaries reviewed for accuracy?+
Yes. Every summary is drafted by a trained student volunteer and reviewed by an educator or subject-matter reviewer before publication.
